The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and cornerback Zyon McCollum agreed to a three-year extension worth $48 million, his agents told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The deal includes $35.4 million guaranteed and keeps him under contract through the 2028 campaign.
A fifth-round pick in 2022, the Sam Houston State product has developed into a starting-caliber cornerback in the Tampa Bay secondary. McCollum started 17 games for the Buccaneers last year and grabbed the first two interceptions of his career.
