Harry Kane has added another remarkable milestone to his glittering career. He has become the fastest player in Europe’s top five leagues this century to score 100 goals for a single club. The England captain reached the landmark in just his 104th game for Bayern Munich.
With that, he has surpassed records previously set by Erling Haaland and Cristiano Ronaldo. They each required 105 matches. Kane hit the century during Bayern’s 4-0 win against Werder Bremen at the Allianz Arena. In front of 75,000 fans, he converted a penalty on the stroke of half-time.
He scored his second of the day in the 65th minute. The other goals came from Luis Díaz and Konrad Laimer. The win maintained Bayern’s perfect start to the Bundesliga season, with 22 goals scored and just three conceded in their opening five games.
