LeBron James sparked speculation after posting a cryptic 10-second video teasing the “decision of all decisions” to be revealed Tuesday at 16:00 GMT, calling it “The Second Decision.”
The video referenced his famous 2010 “Decision” to leave Cleveland for Miami, leaving fans divided on whether this meant retirement or a new commercial venture. James, 40, is about to start his record 23rd NBA season and recently admitted retirement will come “sooner than later,” though he remains committed to playing this year.
Some reports noted his business ties, including with Amazon, which coincidentally has a sales event Tuesday, fueling speculation the teaser could be marketing rather than basketball-related.
Regardless, the buzz has already driven up ticket prices for the Lakers’ April 12 home finale against the Jazz: seats jumped from $85 to $445 on TickPick, $821 on SeatGeek, and over $955 on Ticketmaster.
