The Philadelphia Eagles are trading a 2026 third-round pick to the Miami Dolphins for pass-rusher Jaelan Phillips, sources told NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Phillips will reunite with defensive coordinator Vic Fangio in Philadelphia. The two briefly spent time together in 2023 when Fangio was the defensive coordinator of the Dolphins.
The Eagles have been in need of help in the pass-rush department with only 16 sacks through eight games this season. Veteran defensive lineman Brandon Graham recently came out of retirement to help Philadelphia in this area.
