Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud won’t play Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars as he remains in concussion protocol, head coach DeMeco Ryans announced Wednesday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Davis Mills will start in Stroud’s place.
Stroud suffered the concussion in last week’s loss to the Denver Broncos when his head hit the ground after he was tackled in the midsection on a run.
