The Washington Commanders aren’t placing Jayden Daniels on injured reserve after the quarterback received positive updates following an MRI and medical opinions on his dislocated elbow, sources told NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Daniels’ injury isn’t reportedly considered as serious as initially anticipated, with tests revealing no ligament damage or need for surgery. The Commanders’ star will be re-evaluated during the team’s bye week later in November, per Rapoport.
The 24-year-old sustained the injury after being tackled in the fourth quarter against the Seattle Seahawks last Sunday. Washington lost the game 38-14.
