Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said Thursday that quarterback C.J. Stroud will miss a second consecutive game due to the concussion he suffered in Week 9, according to ESPN’s DJ Bien-Aime.
Backup Davis Mills will get the start again Sunday versus the Tennessee Titans. He led the Texans to a comeback victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars last weekend, completing 27 of 45 passes and three total touchdowns. Mills’ 14-yard rushing score with under a minute left ultimately iced the contest.
