The Pittsburgh Steelers claimed veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen off waivers, the team announced. The move comes a day after Thielen asked the Minnesota Vikings to release him.
Additionally, the Steelers and cornerback Darius Slay mutually agreed to part ways. Slay, who was inactive during Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills despite being healthy, joined Pittsburgh on a one-year deal during the offseason.
