The Miami Dolphins are finalizing a deal to hire Green Bay Packers vice president of player personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan as their new general manager, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Sullivan originally joined the Packers as a training camp intern in 2003 and has been with the franchise since, serving in several different roles. He took over as vice president of player personnel in 2022. His father, Jerry, was the Dolphins’ wide receivers coach in 2004.
A highly regarded executive within the NFL, Sullivan had his second in-person interview with the Dolphins on Thursday before getting the job Friday, notes NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
