The Houston Texans are trading offensive tackle Tytus Howard to the Cleveland Browns for a fifth-round pick, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Upon completion of the trade, the Browns will reward Howard with a three-year, $63-million extension, his agent told Schefter.
Cleveland is giving its offensive line a major makeover for 2026. Three-time Pro Bowler and pending free agent Wyatt Teller already stated he won’t be back. Left tackle Cam Robinson, left guard Joel Bitonio, center Ethan Pocic, right guard Teller, and right tackle Jack Conklin are all scheduled to enter free agency, per Over the Cap. That group started 63 games for the Browns last season.
