The reigning MVP broke Wilt Chamberlain’s NBA record for consecutive games of 20 or more points in Thursday’s visit from the Boston Celtics, hitting a long two over guard Baylor Scheierman with the shot clock winding down in the third quarter.Gilgeous-Alexander has now recorded 20-plus points in 127 straight games dating back to Nov. 1, 2024.
