Milwaukee Bucks Ousmane Dieng finished Wednesday’s 119-113 loss to the Rockets with 36 points (15-31 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 10 assists, seven rebounds and one steal across 45 minutes.
Dieng struggled from three-point range but made the most of his increased opportunities with Milwaukee shorthanded in the second leg of this back-to-back set. The 22-year-old forward returned to the first unit after coming off the bench in Tuesday’s win over Dallas, and he dropped a game- and career-high 36 points. The fourth-year pro also dished out a game- and career-best 10 dimes, marking his sixth consecutive contest with at least four assists. Dieng should continue to see significant burn for the Bucks, who have already been eliminated from playoff contention and will likely want an extended look at him before he enters restricted free agency this summer.
