The Atlanta Falcons have exercised running back Bijan Robinson’s fifth-year option, the team announced Friday.
The move comes as no surprise, as Robinson is entering the fourth year of his rookie contract. He’s expected to sign a lucrative contract extension with Atlanta.
The two sides could ink a long-term deal before the 2026 season, sources told CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones. Robinson’s fifth-year option is worth $11.3 million for the 2027 campaign.
