Barcelona believe star winger Lamine Yamal may have suffered a torn hamstring during Wednesday’s 1-0 win over Celta Vigo, sources told Sam Marsden and Moises Llorens of ESPN.
Yamal sustained the injury while scoring the game’s lone goal from the penalty spot.
The initial indication is that his hamstring is torn, according to Marsden and Llorens, but the severity of it remains unclear. Yamal is expected to undergo scans Thursday, once swelling has gone down. Barcelona will then determine how long he’ll be sidelined.
