The Los Angeles Rams selected Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson 13th overall in Thursday’s Round 1 of the NFL draft.
Rams head coach Sean McVay told reigning league MVP Matthew Stafford earlier Thursday that the franchise intended to take Simpson in hopes that he can succeed the veteran signal-caller, according to Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer.
