The Denver Broncos had the final pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the player of which becomes known as Mr. Irrelevant. The new celebrity is Khalil “Red” Murdock, a linebacker from the University of Buffalo.
“I feel extremely grateful and excited to be able to go there for the Broncos,” Murdock said in a quick conference call with the Denver media. “I know a little bit about Mr. Irrelevant, but the main thing is I have an opportunity to try and make the most of it and help us win.”
