Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is expected to play in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals against the San Antonio Spurs barring any setbacks, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Edwards was initially expected to miss multiple weeks after suffering a hyperextension and bone bruise in his left knee during Game 4 of Minnesota’s opening-round series against the Denver Nuggets.
He’s undergone multiple treatments, including hyperbaric chamber sessions, to hasten his recovery, Charania reports.
