The Philadelphia 76ers ruled out star Joel Embiid for Game 2 against the New York Knicks due to ankle and hip injuries, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Embiid didn’t participate in the team’s shootaround Wednesday morning after experiencing increased soreness in both areas, adds Charania.
The 7-foot center was reportedly receiving around-the-clock treatment in an effort to play.
