New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers underwent a second knee surgery to remove scar tissue that was causing stiffness, sources told The Athletic’s Dan Duggan.
The procedure, described as a cleanup, took place “multiple weeks ago,” according to Duggan.
Nabers’ latest surgery reportedly isn’t expected to affect his recovery timeline, and the Giants remain hopeful that their leading pass-catcher will be available to face the Dallas Cowboys in their season opener Sept. 13.
