NASCAR has suspended a team member indefinitely after an incident at Charlotte Motor Speedway this past weekend.
NASCAR put out its weekly penalty report on Wednesday, May 27. On the report was Evanna Howell. The document said she was suspended indefinitely for a “behavioral” incident.
Cabarrus County court records revealed the 35-year-old Howell was arrested on Saturday, May 23. An arrest warrant alleged that she used a golf cart to assault a man. She was subsequently charged with assault with a deadly weapon causing serious injury.
