Mercedes teen sensation Kimi Antonelli will start from pole for Sunday’s Monaco Grand Prix after narrowly securing P1 during Saturday’s qualifying at the Circuit de Monaco.
Antonelli beat Red Bull’s Max Verstappen by 0.043 of a second in the final moments of the session.
“It was one of those laps that we call a magic lap,” Antonelli said, according to The Associated Press. “I was able to put it all together.”
