The Pittsburgh Steelers have released wide receiver Brandon Johnson just two months after re-signing him, meaning veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers will no longer have Johnson as a teammate for the 2026 season.
The move came after Pittsburgh claimed punter Aidan Laros off waivers from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Johnson, 27, had limited success during multiple stints with the Steelers, spending most of his time on the practice squad. He previously played for the Denver Broncos, recording 25 catches for 326 yards and five touchdowns over his first two NFL seasons.
