George Pickens reported to the Dallas Cowboys’ facility ahead of the start of mandatory minicamp after missing all of the team’s voluntary offseason activities, a source told ESPN’s Todd Archer.
Pickens, who is signed under the franchise tag, needs to show up to minicamp in order to avoid being fined. He’s apparently taking his physical Monday, and the mandatory camp begins Tuesday.
Head coach Brian Schottenheimer said last week that the franchise and the wideout were on the same page despite Pickens’ absence. The coach also noted that Pickens would be limited at mandatory minicamp after missing the voluntary workouts, according to Archer.
