The Memphis Grizzlies picked Duke forward Cameron Boozer with the third overall selection in Tuesday’s first round of the NBA draft.
Boozer makes the jump to the NBA on the heels of a decorated season with the Blue Devils. He became just the fifth freshman to be named The Associated Press’ men’s national player of the year. He also earned consensus first-team All-American and ACC Player of the Year honors, among several other accolades.
