Ayo Dosunmu is signing a five-year, $112-million contract to remain with the Minnesota Timberwolves, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Dosunmu’s new deal will include a player option for the fifth season, adds Charania.
Dosunmu joined the Timberwolves in a February trade from the Chicago Bulls and became a critical piece of Minnesota’s playoff rotation. He averaged 21.8 points, four assists, and 54.5% 3-point shooting in five first-round games against the Denver Nuggets, including a career-best 43 points in Game 4.
