Tom Kim has returned to the winner’s circle after a drought that lasted 1,001 days.
Kim, 24 and already in his ninth season as a professional, stormed to victory at the Genesis Scottish Open on Sunday. He shot a bogey-free 64 to claim his first PGA Tour win since October 2023.
Last month, Kim found himself ranked outside the top 150 in the world, but a recent surge in form, including a solo third-place finish at the U.S. Open, has given the South Korean phenom momentum.
At the Scottish Open, Kim capitalized on that run at a venue that has historically suited his game. Kim’s last four appearances at Renaissance Club have all ended in top 20 finishes, and back in 2022, his solo third-place finish at the Scottish Open helped pave the way for him to earn PGA Tour status.
