The Arizona Cardinals will start rookie quarterback Carson Beck in Thursday’s Hall of Fame Game against the Carolina Panthers, head coach Mike LaFleur announced Tuesday.
The Cardinals selected Beck in the third round of April’s draft to inject more youth into a quarterback room that’s headlined by veterans Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Minshew II.
LaFleur said Monday that Beck had his best practice of training camp Sunday. He complimented the 24-year-old’s accuracy and control of the offense.
