Quarterback Anthony Richardson doesn’t know where things stand after he asked the Indianapolis Colts to trade him in February.
“I haven’t really talked to my agent about that recently, I haven’t really talked to anyone about that recently, so I’m not necessarily sure what’s going on with that,” Richardson said Sunday, according to the Indianapolis Star’s Nathan Brown.
Richardson started a combined 15 games across the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Injuries and inconsistent play caused the 24-year-old to fall out of favor, and the Colts explored other options at quarterback. Indianapolis is moving forward with Daniel Jones as its starter, having signed him to a two-year extension in March after an Achilles injury ended his 2025 campaign.
