The Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, and San Francisco 49ers are among the teams that called the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to check on the availability of defensive tackle Vita Vea, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports.
However, the Buccaneers maintain no interest in dealing Vea, who requested a trade in July after unsuccessful contract extension negotiations. The two sides have been communicating, but a deal is not imminent, Garafolo adds.
Vea reportedly favors a move to 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers, or Las Vegas Raiders if he’s moved.
