The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Vita Vea have agreed to terms on a one-year, $30-million extension, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The Buccaneers confirmed that Vea, who was entering the final year of his deal, is under contract for two more seasons with his extension. He receives $6 million in new money this year, Schefter adds.
The 31-year-old was scheduled to earn $18 million this season prior to his extension.
