The New York Giants and quarterback Jameis Winston have agreed to terms on a two-year, $13-million extension, sources told NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
The deal keeps Winston, who is set to serve as Jaxson Dart’s backup this season, under contract through the 2028 campaign.
Winston joined the Giants ahead of last season and went on to start two games, both of which New York lost. He recorded a 56.1% completion rate, two touchdowns, and two interceptions.
