Longtime Chicago Bears fullback Matt Suhey, a member of the team’s legendary 1985 Super Bowl championship team, has died, sources tell WGN-TV. He was 68.
After being drafted out of Penn State, Suhey played for the Bears from 1980 until 1989 and appeared in 140 career games. Known for his blocking, he often helped clear the way for good friend and teammate Walter Payton.
