The NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers and NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday unveiled the first renderings of their proposed new arena on the former grounds of the Spectrum, which hosted both franchises from 1967-96.
The venue is scheduled to be completed in 2030 and will be privately funded.
The new arena will also serve as the home of Philadelphia’s WNBA team.
