The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and quarterback Baker Mayfield agreed on a three-year extension Tuesday, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The deal is worth about $55 million per season, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
The two sides discussed a new contract during the offseason, but talks broke off, putting the veteran passer on track to become a free agent in 2027.
