San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver De’Zhaun Stribling was carted off in the second quarter of Thursday’s 27-7 victory over the Los Angeles Rams with an ankle injury.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan said postgame that Stribling’s Achilles is intact, though the 49ers don’t yet know the severity of the wideout’s ankle issue, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Stribling was examined on the sideline before being carted to the locker room. He went down after coming out of a route.
