AC manager Ruben Amorim says Christian Pulisic isn’t happy about being an unused substitute in each of the club’s opening three matches of the Serie A campaign.
“Pulisic is upset at the moment because he has zero minutes, and I love that,” Amorim told reporters, according to ESPN. “I love that in my players. But he’s ready to play. Let’s not forget he had an injury, then in the first training he had a knock, and he stopped a little bit and returned.”
Pulisic hasn’t played since suffering a bone bruise and microfracture in his lower leg in the United States’ last-16 World Cup loss to Belgium in early July. The 27-year-old tallied eight goals and four assists in 30 league appearances for the Rossoneri last season, with 18 of those coming as a starter.
