Alejandro Tosti’s caddie quit midway through Thursday’s first round of the PGA Tour’s Biltmore Championship in Asheville, North Carolina.
First reported by Golfweek, Cliff Ellis, who has looped for Tosti on and off in recent years, had enough, excusing himself from Tosti’s bag during their ninth hole of the day.
Tosti, who was grouped with Luke Clanton and Spencer Oxendine, was even par at the time and went on to card a 1-over 72.
