Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce is expected to be out for several weeks after aggravating a left heel injury on Sunday Night Football against the Kansas City Chiefs, sources told NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Pierce will reportedly attempt to rehab the injury without undergoing surgery and could return midseason if all goes well.
The 26-year-old underwent ankle surgery on the same leg this offseason and received multiple PRP injections leading up to the start of the campaign.
