The Minnesota Vikings’ running back situation remains uncertain ahead of Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as Aaron Jones Sr. deals with a knee injury, according to ESPN’s Kevin Seifert.
Head coach Kevin O’Connell said the Vikings planned to hold Jones out of practice Wednesday.
Jones’ absence, combined with Jordan Mason being placed on injured reserve last week after fracturing his thumb, leaves rookie Demond Claiborne as Minnesota’s only healthy halfback who went through training camp with the team.
