Los Angeles Rams star Myles Garrett was provided a six-week timeline to return after his knee surgery, sources told ESPN’s Ian Rapoport.
Garrett underwent arthroscopic knee surgery and was placed on IR after the Rams’ season-opening loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos marks the second contest that Garrett will miss.
The reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year, who was acquired in a stunning trade with the Cleveland Browns during the offseason, wants to return quicker than his timeline but the Rams don’t plan to rush him, Rapoport adds.
