New York Giants edge rusher Brian Burns is believed to have torn his ACL in Sunday’s win over the Tennessee Titans, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport.
If the injury is confirmed, New York would lose Burns for the season.
The Giants’ standout edge rusher played Sunday’s game despite dealing with an ankle injury that kept him out of practice all week.
Burns suffered the injury Sunday while rushing the passer on a fourth-quarter play. He went to the ground and appeared to be in serious pain as the Giants staff examined him.
