Oregon opted for third-string quarterback Brock Thomas in the fourth quarter to try and lead a comeback versus UCLA after Dylan Raiola threw his second interception of the day.
Raiola – starting in place of injured Dante Moore – struggled against the Bruins, completing only six of his 19 pass attempts for 43 yards with the pair of picks.
Thomas did provide a spark off the bench, completing 11 of his 15 passes for 156 yards and a touchdown to bring the Ducks within two. However, the comeback would fall short when UCLA stopped a potential tying two-point conversion late in the fourth.
