The rib injury that forced Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix out of Sunday’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens is not considered to be serious, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Penix, who was replaced in the fourth quarter by Tua Tagovailoa, might be able to return Sunday against the Chicago Bears, Schefter adds.
However, the Falcons are going to be cautious and make sure he’s able to practice this week before making a decision for Week 6.
