The Arizona Cardinals ruled out rookie running back Jeremiyah Love for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams due to an ankle injury, head coach Mike LaFleur announced Friday, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.
LaFleur said there’s been no discussion about putting Love on injured reserve.
Love sprained his right ankle during the preseason, but his current injury affects his left ankle. LaFleur said earlier this week that the issue has bothered the running back for a couple of weeks, according to team reporter Darren Urban.
