The Milwaukee Brewers are one win away from ending their World Series drought after a statement performance in Monday’s Game 3.
The Brewers crushed the Tampa Bay Rays 10-1 at Tropicana Field thanks to an eight-run fifth inning. Milwaukee became the first team in Fall Classic history to score eight runs with two outs, setting a playoff single-game record that featured seven consecutive batters getting a hit.
“The guys just passed the baton to each other,” Christian Yelich told FOX’s Ken Rosenthal postgame.
