The Houston Astros will speak with future Hall of Famer Albert Pujols about their vacant managerial position, a source told Chandler Rome of The Athletic.
Pujols will arrive in Houston on Wednesday before interviewing Thursday at Daikin Park, reports Brian McTaggart of MLB.com.
The 46-year-old and new Astros general manager Randy Flores were teammates with the St. Louis Cardinals from 2004-08, during which they won the 2006 World Series together.
