Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star Anthony Edwards is expected to miss multiple weeks due to a bone bruise and hyperextension in his left knee, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Test results indicate that Edwards avoided any ligament damage, Charania adds.
Edwards sustained the injury in the second quarter of Saturday’s 112-96 victory over the Denver Nuggets.
