The NFL’s top wide receivers are beginning to separate themselves from the pack through Week 4 of the 2026 season, with Dallas Cowboys star CeeDee Lamb leading the league in receiving yards.
According to the NFL receiving yards graphic through Week 4, Lamb sits atop the rankings with 498 receiving yards, narrowly ahead of New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave.
NFL Receiving Yards Leaders Through Week 4
Here are the top five receiving-yard leaders shown through Week 4:
- CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys — 498 receiving yards
- Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints — 491 receiving yards
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks — 481 receiving yards
- Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals — 401 receiving yards
- Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams — 390 receiving yards
Only 17 yards separate Lamb from Smith-Njigba, making the race for the NFL receiving title extremely tight entering the next portion of the season.
CeeDee Lamb Leads NFL in Receiving Yards
Lamb has established himself as the early leader with 498 yards. His position atop the leaderboard puts him just seven yards ahead of Olave and 17 ahead of Smith-Njigba.
With the margin so small, the NFL receiving-yard lead could change hands quickly.
Chris Olave Just Seven Yards Behind
Olave is right on Lamb’s heels with 491 receiving yards. The Saints receiver needs only eight additional yards relative to Lamb to move ahead of him on the leaderboard.
Olave’s presence near the top also makes him one of the biggest names to watch as the receiving race develops.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba Remains in the Hunt
Seattle’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba rounds out the top three with 481 yards. He trails Lamb by only 17 yards, keeping the Seahawks receiver firmly within striking distance of the NFL lead.
The gap then becomes considerably larger, with Higgins sitting fourth at 401 yards.
Tee Higgins and Davante Adams Complete the Top Five
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has accumulated 401 receiving yards, putting him fourth on the list.
Los Angeles Rams veteran Davante Adams completes the NFL’s top five with 390 receiving yards.
That leaves a 91-yard difference between third-place Smith-Njigba and fifth-place Adams.
2026 NFL Receiving Yards Race Is Wide Open
Through Week 4, the battle at the top is essentially a three-player race between Lamb, Olave and Smith-Njigba. All three are within 17 yards of one another, meaning one big performance could completely reshape the standings.
For now, CeeDee Lamb is the NFL receiving yards leader with 498 yards, but with most of the 2026 regular season still ahead, there is plenty of time for the leaderboard to change.
