Rory McIlroy shot a 6-under 65 in Sunday’s final round to win the Wells Fargo Championship by five strokes over Xander Schauffele.
It’s the fourth time McIlroy has won the tournament. He also claimed the title in 2010, 2015, and 2021.
“Quail Hollow, Charlotte in general, has been really good to me over my career,” McIlroy told CBS Sports. “This is just another great day to sorta add to the rest of them.”
