Fox Sports announced Monday that the Philadelphia Eagles’ 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX drew a projected 126 million average audience across all platforms, setting the record for the most-watched Super Bowl.
Despite the blowout, the game broke the previous record of 123.7 million average viewers for Super Bowl LVIII in 2024 between the Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, according to the Sport Business Journal’s Austin Karp.
Super Bowl LIX’s audience peaked in the second quarter between 8-8:15 p.m., when 135.7 million people tuned in.
